Who they are: Family in the Bay Area (2 adults and 2 children under 4 years old).

What they’ve done: A tree fell in their living room during an atmospheric storm and they had just moved back in, wanting to re-envision their family home.

Where they wanted to go: They wanted to add purpose to the extra space behind the couch in their living room, hiding kids’ toys and highlighting nostalgic mementos. We added an additional set of ladder shelves, a bench with storage and seating and twin mirrors above the couch to reflect the beauty in their backyard.
